Our facility’s sustainable management system encompasses environmental, social, cultural, economic, quality, human rights, health, and safety issues. As a result of our efforts to identify potential internal or external hazards, analyze and determine the factors that lead to these hazards becoming risks, and identify the risks arising from these hazards, we have established methods and principles to reduce risks to an acceptable level and implement control measures for potential risks. In this context, we have started implementing training for our employees to ensure employee safety, guest safety, and workplace safety, and various actions in accordance with legal regulations for operational excellence.
PO-001 HUMAN RIGHTS, EQUAL OPPORTUNITY, AND EMPLOYEE RIGHTS POLICY
Our organization aims to provide a safe and healthy working environment. We do not discriminate in hiring, compensation, training, rewarding, promotion, dismissal, or retirement based on race, religion, caste, national origin, disability, age, gender, sexual preference, association, union membership, or political identity. We support the participation of women in the workforce across all our departments and offer equal opportunities. Our institution aims to increase the number and quality of local employment generated by the workforce. We provide clean showers, drinking water, food, transportation facilities, and lodging for employees. PO-002 VULNERABLE GROUPS AND CHILDREN’S RIGHTS POLICY
Children are the trust of the future. Our primary responsibility is to recognize them as individuals, respect their rights, and protect them against all forms of psychological, physical, commercial, etc., exploitation. To ensure this:
We do not allow child labor within our own institutions, in accordance with the International Labor Organization’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, and we expect the same sensitivity from all our business partners. Within the facility, we provide environments/opportunities where children can contribute to their development, freely express their thoughts, wishes, and emotions, and feel free and comfortable. We provide training to our employees on preventing and recognizing child abuse. We ensure that children are under adult supervision during activities they participate in. We organize training sessions to raise awareness about the protection of children’s rights and support relevant projects. When we witness suspicious acts involving children, we first inform the hotel management and seek help from official institutions when deemed necessary. We do not allow vulnerable individuals, such as women, infants and young children, the elderly, pregnant women, people with mental disorders, refugees, disabled people, ethnic minorities, and patients, who are insufficient, lack the capacity to give consent, and may face very negative consequences if their personal data becomes public, to be subjected to abuse, harassment, discrimination, suppression, coercion, defamation, etc. We are always aware of the value they add to the world and our institution and support their presence.
PO-003 ACCESSIBILITY POLICY FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH LIMITED ABILITIES
Our facility implements mandatory minimum standards by law to ensure accessibility standards in all areas and remove barriers. Accessible accommodation involves arranging elements that can be provided for a normal individual to also include individuals with disabilities. To ensure our facility can adequately provide accessibility services, we aim to create appropriate financial support and human resources in line with the objectives of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. We continuously work on improvements to provide a healthy, peaceful, and safe environment for our disabled guests in our facility. We strive to make continuous improvements not only for physically disabled guests but also for those who cannot participate in tourism activities due to visual or hearing impairments. Our hotel regularly maintains and repairs accessibility arrangements and infrastructure and provides improvements when necessary. We also regularly inform our employees about accessibility. We commit to providing accessible accommodation services to disabled individuals in the same environment as everyone else and to openly and accurately inform customers and stakeholders about the level of accessibility through our website.
PO-004 PURCHASING AND LOCAL SUPPLIER POLICY
Our primary goal for sustainability is to protect the environment, minimize the negative impacts of our business on the environment, and contribute to the development of our local community by ensuring sustainability in purchasing.
We ensure that food and beverage items purchased for our facility are of top quality, suitable for their purpose and relevant regulations, and are also selected from locally produced products. To limit and minimize the environmental impacts of our operations, during purchasing, we evaluate the following criteria along with price, quality, and suitability, and when purchasing products, we consider not only the purchase cost but also their lifecycle cost:
Preference for equipment and products that consume less energy.
Preference for equipment and products that consume less water.
Preference for equipment, products, and services that produce less waste.
Preference for materials that cause the least harm to the environment.
Replacement of cooling gases used in our hotel with new cooling machines in accordance with environmental regulations after their lifespan.
We will communicate with our suppliers to raise awareness regarding the supply of sustainable products and services.
The use of natural resources without harming the ecosystem is also important. In all purchasing activities, importance is given to animal rights and the sustainability of wildlife species, and prohibited products are not supplied.
Environmentally certified products and suppliers are preferred for wood, paper, fish, other foods, and products from the wild. In cases where certified products or suppliers are not available, the origin and production methods are investigated.
To minimize waste, careful management of consumables including food, and preference for reusable, returnable, and recycled products are targeted. Additionally, suppliers are expected to minimize and properly manage their waste.
Practices such as using energy-saving products and purchasing from local/regional businesses are important for the environment. Furthermore, supporting local entrepreneurs in the development and sale of sustainable products and services is also targeted.
Adherence to the principle of fair trade avoids corruption, bribery, and conflicts of interest. Priority is given to business partners who comply with commercial ethics and legal regulations. Additionally, the intellectual property rights of all business partners are protected.
Our institution works with local/regional suppliers to ensure responsible sourcing and support its social responsibility throughout the entire supply chain. We see our raw material and technical suppliers as important partners with whom we develop trust relationships through open, equal, and fair trade. Our institution also promotes the Sustainable Management System by considering the environment, quality, occupational safety, and human rights in the supply chain, including our suppliers, to gain the trust of society.
PO-005 ENVIRONMENTAL AND WASTE MANAGEMENT POLICY
Aware of our responsibilities towards the environment and society, believing in continuous development, and with a belief in a sustainable environment, we carry out our activities and will ensure their continuity. By controlling factors that may cause environmental pollution, we will minimize the pollution and harm we cause to the environment. We will fulfill our legal obligations and comply with environmental legislation and administrative regulations.
During our activities, we will minimize adverse environmental impacts by using the best available technology. We will share our environmental awareness and efforts to protect the environment with our employees, guests, suppliers, and the community, ensuring it is adopted as a philosophy of life. We will organize necessary training to increase environmental sensitivity, inform, raise awareness, and motivate our employees about environmental issues. To prevent environmental pollution, we will work to reduce polluting waste at its source, reuse, or recover it. We will use energy and natural resources at appropriate levels and implement activities to prevent unnecessary resource use. Zero waste, waste reduction, and reduction of chemical use will be achieved by purchasing and supplying environmentally friendly and efficient products.
Environmental risks that may arise after each departmental activity will be identified, and measures will be taken to reduce generated waste. We will develop solutions for waste separation throughout the facility and in rooms. We will ensure the disposal of hazardous waste generated in our facility in accordance with environmental legislation and that this is continuously carried out within our organization. We store waste correctly in separate areas according to its characteristics, deliver it to licensed/authorized companies without exceeding legal storage time limits, and maintain records. To make our natural resources sustainable, we will regularly monitor our water and electricity consumption and take protective measures to prevent excessive consumption. To prevent excessive chemical consumption, we will continue to provide training to our staff on the necessity of using chemicals sufficiently. In garden maintenance, we will prioritize biological control methods and continue to implement drip irrigation methods for water conservation. To prevent potential emergencies and environmental disasters, we will regularly conduct drills with Emergency Response Teams.
We will continuously improve our Environmental Management System. We will continue our efforts to effectively use our natural resources and prevent pollution from soil, water, air, light, noise, erosion, and surface runoff. We strive to minimize our carbon footprint and greenhouse gas emissions. We will regularly provide reminder information to staff and guests to increase environmental awareness. We will continue to make announcements to staff via environmental awareness boards. We measure our performance in environmental management, monitor this data against targets, and strive to improve our performance.

To protect our world from potential dangers, we use our energy efficiently and set targets to reduce our energy consumption. For this purpose:

We voluntarily carry out activities that will reduce energy consumption and/or continuously improve our energy consumption performance, and we monitor the results of our efforts. We emphasize cooperation with all our stakeholders to create common goals and results in energy management. We strive to maintain our interaction to achieve a comprehensive level of awareness and consciousness with our guests, employees, visitors, and all business partners on these issues. We strive to research, find, purchase, and use energy-efficient products, equipment, and technology alternatives. We aim to document our Energy Management System, disseminate it to all our departments, update it when necessary, review it, and continuously improve it. Our aim is to protect local resources and benefit the regional economy by providing local employment and sourcing. We prefer to support our community and local entrepreneurs to maximize social and economic benefits. We strive to procure our raw materials from local suppliers to support projects that develop the local community, support entrepreneurs, and promote their development. In our hotel’s employment, we also prioritize selecting local employees. We cooperate with non-governmental organizations in the region and support their activities.
PO-008 DESTINATION PARTICIPATION POLICY
Support is provided to public and private projects for the preservation of cultural heritage and nature in our region. We aim to maximize the contribution to the host destination, including exhibiting art and handcrafted products made by local people and increasing the local spending rate of our visitors. Guests are advised on the local culture and appropriate behavior in the region. We involve local governments in planning, management, and tourism development processes in the region through exchange of views with other tourism stakeholders. We participate in measures to preserve and strengthen the quality of urban and rural areas and prevent the physical and visual deterioration of the environment. We support respecting and strengthening the culture, traditions, and historical heritage unique to the Turkish people.
PO-009 CULTURAL HERITAGE AND PROMOTION POLICY
We accept it as our responsibility to know the regions we are in, respect their historical values and cultures, and contribute to their economic and social development. We provide information about all historical sites and unique beauties on the cultural heritage list in our region through our reception and promote them in our hotel areas and sales points. We provide information regarding transportation to historical sites and cultural heritage points, appropriate behavior in these areas, and cultural values. We work to preserve local culture and traditions, prevent discrimination based on views, ethnicity, beliefs, etc., and protect the natural texture, historical, cultural, and archaeological assets in our regions. We hold discussions to ensure that local characteristics, sensitivities, and the needs of the local people are considered in decisions, and we support the promotion of the region’s food, activities, culture, and traditions to guests. We commit to guiding our guests in their cultural interactions, providing information about rules of conduct, not preventing local access to cultural heritage, and respecting all rights of the local people.
PO-010 BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION POLICY
When formulating our environmental strategies and designing our activities, we consider biodiversity and ecosystem issues. In the terrestrial areas of our facilities, we aim to protect the ecological system, monitor invasive species, and ensure the protection and sustainability of natural life in our environment.
PO-011 WILDLIFE AND ANIMAL HEALTH PROTECTION POLICY
Our organization is aware of and complies with existing local, national, and international regulations and guidelines regarding wildlife interactions, including wildlife viewing. The organization is consistent with the development and implementation of local laws and guidelines for wildlife interactions, including wildlife viewing, as guided by the advice of wildlife experts as needed. Direct interactions, especially feeding, are not permitted unless specifically approved by internationally recognized standards or in situations where standards do not exist, as guided by independent wildlife expert advice. Measures are taken to minimize disturbance to wildlife. Impacts on wildlife welfare are regularly monitored and addressed.

In its website, social media accounts, and other printed and written promotional channels and marketing communications, our hotel has a transparent and realistic structure regarding its products and services.
Our hotel also openly and transparently shares its policies and sustainability-related actions and operations with its employees and customers. This is done through our hotel’s website. Information about our sustainability performance is provided on our website. Our hotel has a system that aims to receive feedback from our customers, public institutions, municipalities, employees, local community, and all other relevant individuals and organizations regarding our sustainability performance, policies, and practices. Through this system, we receive feedback from both our staff and customers.
Our system is designed to enable and encourage our customers and staff to provide feedback quickly, simply, and effectively. Customer satisfaction is important in our hotel. Customer satisfaction includes feedback from the system explained above regarding sustainability. The results obtained are analyzed. Negative feedback and the responses given are recorded, and necessary measures are taken.
Our employees know what they need to do in our management system and our sustainability-related policies and practices. What our employees need to do is defined in writing, communicated to them, and necessary training and guidance are regularly provided. These trainings are recorded.
